OUR BLESSED STORY!
The Favor of God Ministry started in 2007 as a daily national conference call for believers from all across the nation. Under God's perfect guidance, Pastor Dawn Conner has been leading this ministry for 6 years. Believers have been calling in every morning @6:55 AM PST/9:55 AM est, 605-468-8030, code 486197#. This devotion has given those hungry for the Presence of God an opportunity to start everyday in His Power and His Favor. Everyday the daily favor of God is shared in His daily devotions from the Word of God, followed by the lines being opened for believers to share, fellowship, testify, or submit a prayer request. This daily fellowship has built an incredible community of faith from coast to coast. A weekly Bible class, "The Breaking It Down Bible Show", also takes place every Weds. night (10pm est/7pm pst) for those desiring to study the Word of God from the comfort of their home. callers are able to call in, participate, ask questions, worship, or just listen and grow. Over these 14+ years, we've had viewers/callers not only from dozens of states and countries, but from behind prison walls, hospital beds, nursing facilities, and other places around the nation. The Hand of God is now leading this incredible ministry on a mobile and virtual mission to save as many souls as possible for Jesus Christ. While the daily broadcast will continue, the ministry will now take the church to world, rather than asking the world to come to church; through our "Evening in the Word" ministry; these opportunities allow us to take the worship, learning, preaching, teaching experience right into the intimate atmosphere of believers' homes, so that their families can experience the Love of Christ up close and personal! We believe God has given us the extended mission as He did with the national call, to take the worship experience to those who can't get to church; we are overwhelmed by the response to the Gospel in this format as we have witnessed so many lives changed and souls changed right in the "living room" atmosphere!
In October of 2013, under the direction of the Holy Spirit, we began to have amazing worship experiences at The HOPE Church in Los Angeles, Ca. God asked to us to fill in the void of the local church experience by offering an afternoon worship experience every 2nd and 4th Sundays. And then on 1st & 3rd Sundays we gather to serve our community; all in a dress down atmosphere.
In just this short period, we have fed over 1000 people for Thanksgiving, ministered at homeless shelters, chemo centers, and giving out 100's of bags of toiletries and Bibles to those in recovery/addiction programs.
Now as we leap into 2014, on fire for God, He has given us the mission to decorate the rooms of children across the nation. Our goal is to select children whose parents are incarcerated or in recovery, or who are growing up in gang/drug infested areas, and then give them a chance to express their dream profession and/or chosen college. We will then makeover their rooms to reflect that dream. Our goal is that these rooms of HOPE will lead to lives of HOPE!
In 2016, we the creation of Facebook Live, we from reaching hundreds to reaching thousands per day!
In 2020, with the onset of COVID, all of our services and classes went 100% virtual via FaceBook and YouTube Live! The FAVOR OF GOD once again fell down on this ministry as He kept through one of the most difficult seasons for our planet. But we didn't just survive, WE THRIVED! We saw an increase of nearly 500% in WINNING SOULS FOR CHRIST!
Our desire is fulfill this great mission on our lives for the glory of God; and we won't stop until we KEEP WINNING ONE MORE FOR CHRIST!
